The Pumpkin Patch

we just went to our local pumpkin patch to have collin play with some pumpkin and get some cute pictures....and we did!
have fun enjoying the pics of our littl' pumpkin at his first pumpkin patch!!

7 months...

ok, i know, time has literally flown by and i haven't even had time to update the blog...
here are some of the latest milestones:
sitting up on his own!
loves to squeal!
can't do any signs with his hands, but is starting to associate them with: getting food, milk and more!
is sleeping through the night!
and is eating tones of different veggies but bananas remain his FAVORITE!!! (got to love the home-made baby food!)

Bananas!

we have been trying some new foods...
started with avocado, the first few days were ok, but it only lasted a few days, because collin decided he didn't them very much.
so last wednesday while tim and i were at bowling, nana tried bananas...and we hit the jackpot! he has been loving them ever since!

1st Swim Class!

so, i am convinced that summer is not yet over! so much so, that we have signed up for swim classes! they started this morning, and although they were not very organized, i used some of my old school swimming instructor memories and did our own thing...

that's right, although it took us some time, we finally got around to baptizing this little guy!
it was a great day shared by all, and collin did great! and in fact, for those of you who were there, will attest to the fact that he wanted to jump in to that baptismal font!

overdue 5 months

so, you have to believe that i took these on his 5 month birthday!
he is getting so big! he is reaching for toys now, and has his favorites!
he is liking car rides a bit more, but when he wants out, there is no stopping him!
we love this little guy!

Breadsticks and Books

so in the past week or so great grandma made collin some homemade breadsticks....and during dinner we give him one to busy himself so we can scarf down a warm dinner ourselves....he know exactly what to do with them...straight to the mouth! and the one he had the other night he gnawed on so much there was clearly "gum marks" and a very dirty face!
